Tarianja Ballet Class

At Tarianja Dance Studio, our ballet program adapts principles from the International Programs, while following our own original syllabus designed to support a progressive and enjoyable learning journey

Our classes focus on building strong fundamentals, musicality, coordination, and confidence in a supportive learning environment. Each level is carefully structured to allow students to develop at their own pace while experiencing the joy and discipline of classical ballet. We believe that dance is for everyone. Our ballet classes are recreational, beginner-friendly, and open to all genders, creating a welcoming space where students of different ages and backgrounds can explore movement and express themselves through dance.

Class Levels

Our ballet program includes several levels based on age and development:

• Pre-School Class (2–3 years old)
• Pre-Primary (4–6 years old)
• Primary (6–7 years old)
• Grade 1 (7 years and above)
• Progressive Grades (for students continuing after examinations)
• Adult Beginner Ballet
• Pre-Intermediate

Class Structure

Our program is designed to support each student’s progress while maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Students participate in a variety of learning experiences, including:

• Progress Reports to monitor each student’s development
• Examinations for students who wish to evaluate their progress
• Local Performances that give students the opportunity to perform within the community
• Annual Performance, where students experience the excitement of performing on stage as part of a full production

These experiences help students build confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for dance.
